Please read these conditions carefully before using the cousinjack.co.uk website. By using this website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions.

We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions from time to time and urge you to check them carefully before you make a purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

The use of our site and any contracts formed are governed by English law.

2. Orders & Payments

Once you are ready to order, add the items of choice to the shopping cart and proceed to the checkout following the instructions on the screen. You will be asked to select between PayPal or Card payments to make your payment securely and payment can be made either via a paypal account or via card through Sage Pay.  All payments should be made in Pound Sterling only. We do not accept cheques unless by prior arrangement.

Prices are as stated on the website and are subject to change at any time without notice.

If an item has been priced incorrectly, we reserve the right to supply at the correct price and will inform you of this prior to delivery.

All items are subject to stock availability.

3. Delivery

We will arrange for delivery to the address which you specify when ordering. Unless we state otherwise on our website.

We will do our best to arrange delivery within the time specified on our website or (if none) 28 days of the date of your order but we cannot guarantee delivery by these times. Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries.

When we deliver your items to you you will be asked to sign for the goods to acknowledge that you have received them.

Our liability for any claim for loss or damage shall be limited to the sum paid by you for the goods.

4. Returns

If you are not 100% happy with your purchase you may return it to us at your own cost by A SIGNED FOR POST SERVICE within 28 days. Upon us receiving your returned goods we shall refund you for those goods within 10 working days provided that they are in their original, brand new, unused, re-sellable and clean condition. (see note 4b) Please note that for returned items only standard shipping charges for your original complete order are refunded - we do not refund optional upgrades such as next day or express delivery, nor can we refund postage charges for partially returned orders.

If your goods do not reach you in good condition you must notify us within 3 days of the receipt of your goods by using our contact us form. We will then arrange with you either a refund or exchange for the affected goods provided that they have not been opened or tampered with in any way.

If you believe your goods may be faulty you must notify us within 14 days of the receipt of your goods by using our contact us form. We will then arrange with you either a refund or exchange for the affected goods.

4b. Resellable condition

Returned garments should be sent in a condition that enables us to put back into stock and sell to future customers 'as new'. This means that we expect garments to be returned with their original labels, clean and unworn.

If a garment is returned to us in a non-resellable condition (this includes soiled, stained, damaged, washed etc) we reserve the right to:-
a. reduce or fully retain your refund or
b. reject future orders 

5. Intellectual Property

All designs, photos and copy on this site remains the property of the owners. Any unauthorised use of material on this site is strictly prohibited.

6. Bridal Customers

Whilst we welcome purchases for brides and bridesmaids, we are not a bridal retailer and hence cannot provide services such as alterations, made to measure, unique items, adjustments and longer exchange/return periods. Whilst we are more than happy to provide advice on the purchases - we can only provide the same services as we would do for any other customer.

7. Vouchers

7a. Review Vouchers
A customer may be issued a voucher for reviewing a product via the review section that they have purchased - providing they give a Cousin Jack order number which can be verified. This review voucher has a purchase value of £5 and is valid for 6 months. One review voucher can be issued per order - irrespective of how many products are ordered. The review voucher can be used once on any Cousin Jack online purchase. Review vouchers cannot be used in combination with another review voucher and cannot be exchanged for currency. If an voucher has been priced incorrectly, we reserve the right to supply at the correct price.

Vouchers are valid for Cousin Jack only.

7b. Gift Vouchers
Are valid for 12 months and can be redeemed via our online shop. If your purchase is less than the value of the gift voucher - the voucher will be reduced by the value. Vouchers cannot be exhcnaged for currency. If an item is returned - the voucher will be redeemed. If an voucher has been priced incorrectly, we reserve the right to supply at the correct price.

Vouchers are valid for Cousin Jack only.

7c. Credit Notes
Are valid for 6 months and can be redeemed against any online purchase at The Cousin Jack.  If your purchase is less than the value of the credit note - the credit note will be reduced by the value. Credit notes cannot be exhcnaged for currency. If an item is returned - the credit note will be redeemed. If an credit note has been priced incorrectly, we reserve the right to supply at the correct price.

Credit Notes are valid for Cousin Jack only.

8. General

We will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any product or pricing information which we place on the site but we make no warranties. Please always refer to labels in garments for fibre content & care instructions.

There are links on our website to third party websites which we believe may be of interest to you. We do not have any control over the content of these websites nor can we be liable in respect of anything contained on these websites.

9. Data Protection

Please make sure that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy which explains how we safeguard any data which you provide to us in order for us to fulfil your online order.
